Sažetak
A brief survey was given of the legislative activity in the field of maritime law on Yugoslav coast including the Law on Maritime and Internal Navigation (1977) and the role played by the Institute in this work.
The Institute's collaboration with the Yugoslav Maritime Law Association concerning problems of the unification of maritime law and codification of the new international law of the sea was also presented.
