BEGINNING AND THE FIRST YEARS OF RIJEKA-SENJ ARCHIDIOSE (1966-1979) AND INITIATIVES IN THE FIELD OF FAMILY PASTORAL

Sažetak
During the first years of activities of Rijeka-Senj Archdiocese there appeared new possibilities for work on family pastoral. When in 1966 the Roman Catholic Seminary and High Divinity College were reopened it became possible to organize Theological pastoral and remedial courses for priests of Rijeka Metropolis; the Institute for Theological culture for laymen has existed since 1969 so that premarital courses have been organized occasionally. The newly established Pastoral Institute had a very important role in the general pastoral. The family pastoral has got an important place in the magazine “Zvona” (Bells) and Službeni vjesnik (Official Herald) of Rijeka - Senj Archdiocese; especially thanks to Prof. Marijan Valković who has initiated the course for engaged couples.
