Sažetak

The paper shows to what extent Philosophical Anthropology – in particular its three main representatives Max Scheler, Helmuth Plessner and Arnold Gehlen – is a point of reference for the New Phenomenology of Hermann Schmitz. An analysis of the similarities and differences is offered, with regard to, for example, how to attack the problem of human being, what the significance of corporeality (felt-bodyness) is, and what kind of relationship does man have with the world. By doing so, two relevant philosophical schools of thought are connected and a further approach is outlined.
