Sažetak

Advisory linguistic activity of Stjepko Težak has been collected and bound in the linguistic manuals (handbooks of advice) Our Everyday Croatian Language, Our Distinctive Croatian Language, Our (Un)forgotten Croatian Language, Our (Un)suitable Croatian Language. This paper considers the texts bound into the books whose titles reveal that the author reflects on the language in a poetic manner as well; by reading those texts one will discover an extraordinary expert on both the historic development of the Croatian language and the contemporary Croatian language.
