Sažetak

The exhibition realized as a joint project of the Croatian Museum of Architecture of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Institute of Art History - aims to draw the attention to the connection between the world-famous European 20th century architect Charles Edouard Jeannercentury. The exhiet, widely known as Le Corbusier (1887-1965) and the key protagonists of the Croatian architecture of the second half of the 20th century. The exhibition consists of three parts: Le Corbusier’s canonical works, publications-mediators, and the works of the Croatian architects that reflect the influence of Le Corbusier’s design ideology. Special emphasis is given to the original, rarely seen drawings from the Museum holdings: a perspective drawing of the building in the street called Ulica grada Vukovara, designed by the architect Drago Galić as well as a coloured veduta of the complex in Laginjina street, designed by the architect Ivan Vitić. Also, the films of Ernest Weissmann from Le Corbusier Foundation were played including the episodes from the TV series “One Work”. The curators of the exhibition are dr.sc. Tamara Bjažić Klarin and dr.sc. Borka Bobovec while the graphic design was made by Maja Subotić Šušak.
