Sažetak

This paper gives a Historical review of the registry service activities in the City and University library Osijek witch as a library with a dual function since its foundation in 1975. has been performing registry services for peoples and school libraries for Osjecko-baranjska county as well as for higher education and specialized libraries in the region of Slavonija and Baranja. Furthermore, the paper specifies the main problem with the actions of those services, specifically the complete lack of funding for registry services for higher education and specialized libraries.
