Sažetak
In the library of Department of Mathematics, University of J. J. Strossmayer in Osijek, a collection of periodicals is being built by methods of purchase, exchange or as gifts. This work presents the journal Mathematical Comunications, published by the Department of Mathematics, University of J. J. Strossmayer in Osijek, and describes the way the journal collection is being built using exchange with other journals. The aim of this work is to determine the importance of journal exchange in the creation of journal collections.
