Sažetak

Agricultural production is facing a big challenge: to ensure enough high quality food that will meet the needs of the continually growing population on Earth. In order to achive this, it is necessary to find innovative solutions and start applying new technologies. New technologies in agricultural production will help producures to easily adapt their production to the negative effects of climate change, pest resistance, regulatory demands on the use of plant protection products, fertilizers and machinery, as well as food chain requirements. All industries related to agricultural production have to help the farmers to achive optimal yields in an environmentally friendly way and maintain the quality of their products through new technologies and knowledge.
