Sažetak

A description is given for the preparation of some glucosides related to cerebrosides. Optically active and inactive N-benzoylsphingine (II), as well as hexadecanol yielded with tetrabenzoyl-a-D-bromoglucose in the nitromethane solutio n and in the presence of mercuric cyanide the respective glucosides.
