Sažetak
Postmodern culture and global market will alert, in Croatian literature likewise, to historical foundations of short story which originate from the set structure tradition of Boccaccio’s and Cervantes’ novellas and from deep urge for storytelling and stories such as Scheherazade’s magic. Individual authorial features of specific innovative techniques at the poetic level of short story shall mark the elasticity of genre, transcultural space in which the game also becomes a prospective merit of the art of storytelling.
