Sažetak

Drug eruptions are most often skin (exanthema)
and mucosal (enanthema) reactions caused by
endogenous or exogenous drug hypersensitivity either to
active ingredients or excipients. Different kinds of drugs used
concomitantly, and mostly orally, can produce a wide spectrum
(29 reactions) of skin, mucosa and adnexa reactions, treated
by dermatologists, general practitioners, internists, and
pediatricians. In addition to effects, drugs can also produce
adverse reactions. They can also worsen an existing skin
disease, as well as trigger immunologic and non-immunologic
mechanisms. Early diagnosis, laboratory testing and treatment
of drug reactions are of particular importance.
