Sažetak

Bicyclists need map presentations that will meet their specific needs. If we want map presentations, no matter whether they are topographic maps with added thematic contents, thematic maps of bicycle routes or sketches of bicycle route, to offer all needed information to bicyclists, one should apply map graphics that is readable, concise, accurate, clear and aesthetic. In collaboration with the Zagreb County Tourist Board the project of producing bicycle route maps of Zagreb County has been initiated with all knowledge and experiences applied resulting from the research carried out on various Croatian and foreign map presentations of bicycle routes . The results of the project are six new maps of bicycle routes of Zagreb County.
