Locating the Processing Industry in Rural Areas

Sažetak

Planning the location of processing industry plants in rural areas has a beneficial effect on population distribution, slows the process of village depopulation, and decreases construction and production costs. Building areas for the processing industry are chosen in rural settlements on the basis of general conditions for land use, available communications, the population structure and number of people who can be employed, energy sources, public utilities, conditions for preserving the landscape, and environmental protection.
