Sažetak
The geology of Quaternary sediments and the results of petro-graphic exploration of gravels and sands in the Drava and Mura rivers basins are described. Based on a study of samples from both exploration and mining production the determination of the grain size distributions for ten sites between Ormož and Đurđevac is carried out. The analysis of the heavy mineral contents show the minerals to be in the size ranges from 0.2 to 0.071 mm.
