Vegetative growth and morfological characteristics of one year old schoots and leaves of sour cherry in ecological conditions of Kosovo

Sažetak
Results of research on vegetative growth, development and morphological characteristics of shoots and leaves of the varieties Heimmanova konzervna, Rexelle, Kelleris 14, Kelleris 16 and Izdanačka sour cherry are given in the paper. The research included measuring trunk diameter, crown height and width, tree height, length of one year growth, internode length, number of leaves per tree, leaf area per tree, leaf area per 1 ha and leaf area per fruit. Variety characteristics and differences between varieties were determined in vegetative growth, development and morphological specific qualities of vegetative organs. The results of the research are presented in tables and graphs, variationally and statistically. On the ground of the research morphological and physiological potential of growth and fruitiness are defined for the studied varieties.
