Abstracts Music gives one an insight into the political, economic, emotional, ethnic, identificational and linguistical state of both an individual and a region. I have tried to construct the contemporary Istrian identity in the context of music using the synchronic overview of the music opus with the emphasis on the contemporary communication with
musical, oral, dialectal and historical Istrian heritage interpreted by the local acters of global principles and regional impact.
