Sažetak
Planning the new town of Šibenik ii in the area of Podsolarsko, Zablaće, Velika Solina and Mala Solina will greatly influence the final arrangement and functioning of the existing Solaris Tourist Settlement. This article is an attempt to simulate the future situation through analysis ofnatural and functional factors and a discussion of similar examples in the world which will confirm or deny the staring hypothesis. Research shows that these two settlement will integrate, with very great consequences for the Solaris Hotels. The summer resort hotels will have to be transformed into suburban hotels.
