Sažetak
Reviewed in the paper is some of the most important research in this field which contributed to the development of this field of psychology, from an introspective and nonscientific psychology, based in introspection, speculation and subjective experience, to a scientific psychology, based on experiments and multivariate methods - tests and factor analysis. Special contributions to this development came from Gestalt and Associacionistic psychology, as well as from Guilford's analysis in this field of contemporary psychology.
