Sažetak
In a wide spectre and scope of social care activities and measures on local and wider social level, prevention of all unacceptable forms of behaviour, including substance abuse, presents a relevant sphere of work of the Centre for Social Care Zagreb experts.
35 experts – social workers, social pedagogues and psychologists from 11 Social care offices in Zagreb took part in the prevention programme of the Municipal Health, Work and Social Care Department under the title “All For Against”. Their contribution to the prevention programme realisation can be seen in the preparation of the contents and presentation of lectures for the parents of school children in the area of Zagreb, together with the experts from health, education and police departments. Experience in the organisation and implementation of the programme “All For Against” shows that social care workers, individually and as members of a multidisciplinary expert team, significantly contribute to efficiency and quality of overall programme with their professional knowledge and competence.
