Sažetak
In the paper is given historical review of expanding knowledge on magnetic compasses and its application in geodesy, mining measurements and nave navigation. Beside of this described principle of working electronic compass with aid magnetic resistance or Hall’s effect. After that influence of magnetic induction caused by geomagnetism in physical body of car is explained. On the end described integration GPS-receiver, electronic compass and counter of revolutions wheel of car in modern car navigation.
