Abstracts
The steady-state responses for the chosen boost converter controlled by naturally-sampled frequency pulse-width modulation in a discontinuous mode of operation are identified by means of simulation. The identification of the characteristic steady-state responses is identified in the time-domain by using: waveforms of the state variables, trajectories in the phase plane, Poincaré maps, bifurcation diagram and parameter space map as well as in the frequency-domain by using the bifurcation diagrams of the characteristic subharmonics.
