Anticlericalism and Clericalism

Sažetak

Anticlericalism is old and is due to different reasons in different
times. It is clear what anticlericalism is. It is much more clear what
clericalism is and clericalism is often mentioned mostlv in frequently
sharp and reckless attacks on the Church. It is little known what
clericalism is and lexica give scarce evidence and definition what
clericalism is. The early Christendom was a non-political religion and
a problem of personal conscience. Even Jesus declared that his
Kingdom is not of this world. Later Christianitv was viewed of the
state authoritv as a means to administer the subjects and Christianitv
role to be a political religion. It meant that the Church was competent
for familv jurisdiction, for education and for public moralitv. The
time of Revolutions set an end to this function of the Church and
separated the Curch from the State authoritv causing some frictions
which were mostlv depicted and defined as clericalism.
