Inequalities between the arithmetic and the geometric mean

Sažetak
A lot of various tasks from mathematics competitions can be solved by applying the relationship between the arithmetic and the geometric mean (AG inequalities). An elementary proof of an AG inequality has been given in the paper.
Some consequences of that inequality have also been proved.
