Sažetak

This paper describes the influence of the microclimate on content of bacteria, fungi and dust in the air of laying hen housing systems. Due to the fact that bioaerosols are an obliged by-product of poultry production, a potential danger for the health of people and animals, as well as causing pollution of the nearby environment, they have been subject of numerous researches. The aim of these researches is to set up limiting values of air quality in animal housing systems. In the entire research the total number of airborne bacteria ranged from 1.29 x 104 CFU/m3 to 9.21 x 104 CFU/m3, and the number of airborne fungi ranged from 7.28 x 103 to 9.34 x 104 CFU/m3. Dust concentration ranged from 0.68 mg/m3 measured in May to 3.42 mg/m3 measured in December. Microclimate factors were, mostly, inside the ranges anticipated by technology. Measured values signify the need for further researches on this problem, which will help in establishing standards for air quality in animal housing systems
