Sažetak

Business ethics is a new term and signifies an applied ethics. It
emcompasses a study of moral standards and how these apply to the
systems and organizations through which modern societies produce
and distribute goods and services, and to the people who work within
these organizations. It includes not only the analysis of moral norms
and moral values, but also attempts to apply the conclusions of this
analysis to that assortment of institutions, technologies, transactions,
activities, and pursuits which we call "business".
Business ethics focuses usually on those problem areas: the
employee, marketing, pricing and competition, the environment an
Corporation. An important preliminary question is the conflict of
marker theories, which impinge on ethics because one ideology
emphasizes the free market and unrestrained competition, while
other favors social cooperation with government, as well as concern
for the employee in the workplace.
The ethical behavior in business depends upon the ethic climate
in which the cooperation operates. It can be encouraged by
establishing organizational standards of conduct, particularly codes
of ethics.
