Sažetak
In the article the author analyses new challenges which came out by a breakthrough of new information and communication technologies.
The whole range of legal issues appeared also. The first group of issues which has been analysed in the article consists of issues concerning the protection of employees’ dignity and their personal data as well as issues concerning the employer’s control and supervision of employees during the working time.
The author pays a special attention to Internet using and writing e-mails for private purposes during the working time and to their misuse being a basis for employee’s dismissal. Recent German court practice and Croatian solutions de lege lata are scrutinised also. Furthermore, the author presents proposals de lege ferenda.
