Sažetak
Experience of the suffering of the innocent places in the question God's sense of justice. Whole history of searching for God is marked by that problem which theodicy can not manage to resolve. The Old Testament respondes at it only partly: the suffering is caused by personal or primordial sin, or it is test of the faith. The sense of the suffering of the innocent hides in "unattainable ways of God", in the
strenght of the intercesslon for the sinners and in the mystery of life after death. The New Testament views at the problem of the suffering of the innocent (and "God's weakness" in the history) through the event of Christ death on the cross. Crucifled Jesus from Nazareth is eminently innocent and eminently sufferer. Faith of the Church in crucifled Jesus recognizes not only Christ, Saviour, but also Incarnated God, incarnated the second divine person, Son. Christ's suffering at the same time is also suffering of Son of God. In the event of Christ's cross God personally responds on the problem of the suffering of the innocent and at the paradoxical way (through
"madness of cross") shows the strenth of his "weakness" in the history: God himself personally suffers as man (in human nature) and becomes solidary with sufferers, their fellow-sufferer. God's response at suffering is co-suffering (sympathia). And effect of that sympathia is intercesslon of a new grace of life in Christ by Holy Spirit.
