Sažetak
Turin's Linen is considered, according to the general Catholic tradition, funeral linen in which was wraped Jesus' dead body and placed down into the grave. It's size is 4,36x1,10 m and on it is the picture of the Crucified man. It appeared in France, in Lirey, about 1350 year, and it was transfered in Turin in 1578 year, where is kept today.
The author brings out the main facts from the history of the investigation of the Turin Linen. The scientists began to interest for the Turin's Linen especially after 1898 year, when the Turin's Linen was photographed and the figure of Crucified man declared himself at Linen as real human figure with numerous details. From that time on it is subject of numerous scientiflc researches: people from medicine discover that the picture of Crucified man is without any anatomical error; it is noticed the way of his crucifixion, whiping, crowing. Weaving of the Linen is being researched; on the Linen is discovered pollen of plants from the deserted and half-deserted areas; picture of Crucified man is photo-proof; on the picture there are no traces of the pigments of colours on which it could be painted; the picture is resistent at water, fire and chemical reagents. The American scientists, from the cosmos investigation, gave a proof of Crucified man that is three-dimensional and that there is a coin on his eyes. It was done also radiocarbonate test for the testimony how the Linen is old and according it the Linen would originate from XII/XIV century. Numerous sindonologists (scientists who study the turin's Linen) questioned seriously that result, because there are the other proofs which inform that the Linen is older than that period.
It is interesting that the latest researchin of the Turin's Linen could not succeed to answer at numerous questions about the Turin's Linen and about the picture on it. Especially, the important questions are: how orignated the picture of Crucified man on the Linen, whose that picture is and how the Linen came to us.
