Abstracts Many social, political, economic and consequently moral questions have arisen concerning the disease known as AIDS. Correct ethical evaluation must begin with the clear differentiation between the evil of the illness itself and the individual patient who requires both spiritual and bodily healing. The only correct and effective way to prevent the further spread of the AIDS virus is for members of risk groups to change their behavior and for young people to be made aware of the authentic purpose and significance of human life and sexuality.
