Sažetak

The author has attempted to present and discuss several essential ethical-practical position and implications which in his opinion should he incorporated in the formation of a stand regarding nature and the world we live in.
An awareness that the struggle against nature can ultimately be lost has become increasingly obvious with time. The author observes that it would be wrong to simply jump off the bandwagon of contemporary technological advances. That would be irrational and thus irresponsible. Escapism during the present ecological crisis is simply not an appropriate solution. However, the author does not advocate the solutions of K. R. Popper who conceptualized possibilities for the solution of the ecologic crisis attempted through the so-called "Stückwerk-Technologie", criticizing all metaphysical and holistic appeals.
In conclusion, the author notes that hidden within the negative limitations of the technical-rational approach to nature is an implied necessarily positive assertion: an invitation to "leave things be". This approach can be best summarized in the virtue of "veneration" toward all creation.
