DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIONS UNDER THE IMPACT OF INTRAPRENEURSHIP ACTIVITIES IN PRODUCTION ENTERPRISES

Abstract

Intrapreneurship activities and their impact on innovations are the subject of the research presented in this paper. The aim of this paper is to investigate and formulate the model of interaction of entrepreneurship activities and innovations based on theoretical and empirical results. The research was conducted based on a survey questionnaire which was distributed to 300 managers at all management levels in production enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Based on the theoretical background of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship activities and the relationship between intrapreneurship activities and innovations as well as the results of the research it was concluded that the implementation of intrapreneurship activities positively influences the development of innovations in the enterprise.

Author Biographies

Muzafer Brigić

Muzafer Brigić, PhD, Office of the Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton Government, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He finished post-graduate studies and third cycle studies (Doctoral studies) at the Department of Management and managing at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His research, publication and consulting activities focus on intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship, innovations, competitive advantages, firm growth, management and commercialization.

Sabina Đonlagić Alibegović

Sabina Đonlagić Alibegović, is associate professor at the Department of management and has been member of the faculty´s staff for 14 years. Her research interests are strategic management, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, knowledge management and business organization. In the last two years she was named Vice-Dean for scientific research at the faculty. She is author and co-author on over more than 30 scientific papers in indexed journals, has been team member and project manager in over 10 scientific and professional projects, is author of four international and national books and publications.
