The genetic diversity in 40 mutants of barley cultivars Perun and Emon, obtained by single and combination treatments with gamma rays and sodium azide was estimated using two multivariate analyses. A vastly genetic variability for the studied traits between mutants and parent genotypes and as well as among mutants themselves was found. Traits such as plant height, spike length, number of tillers/1m2, winter hardiness and 1000 grain weight have major contributions to the induced genetic diversity. The most promising genotypes for future hybridisation program were mutants М48, М27 and М30.
