Abstract

The article studies the processes of formation of multifunctional complexes (MFC) based on the renovation of industrial facilities, identifies and describes the following external factors influencing their formation: socio-economic, environmental, urban planning, architectural, aesthetic and historical and cultural; also highlighted and described internal factors: typological, functional and technological, engineering and constructive, space-planning and architectural and artistic. Socio-economic factors are analyzed with the identification of factors that inhibit the development of new functions based on the renovation of stopped industrial facilities and contribute to these processes; the main objectives of the renovation of industrial facilities for multifunctional complexes are outlined. The factor of adaptability of the urban environment and the renovation object located in it is considered in detail.
