Special Issue 2023: One-Part Alkali-Activated Materials

One-part alkali-activated materials have been developed as a more practical and sustainable response to the rising demand for environmentally friendly building materials. By surpassing the traditional two-part geopolymer, this innovative material has emerged as a game-changer, particularly in cast-in-situ applications. In recent years, the field of one-part alkali-activated materials has witnessed significant advancements, presenting a promising alternative to conventional cementitious systems. These materials possess the potential to revolutionize the construction industry, offering improved performance, durability, and environmental benefits. We invite researchers and practitioners to contribute to a special issue that will highlight the latest research and developments in one-part alkali-activated materials.
