Developing a Bi-Level Structure for Evaluation of Regional Bank Branches Managements Focusing on their Consumption
Abstract
Regional Bank Branches Managements (RBBMs) are the most important sections in a bank structure. Each RBBM manages a large group of branches. In this paper, a bi-level structure for the evaluation of RBBMs is developed. In the developed bi-level structure RBBMs are positioned at the upper level and for each RBBM a group of branches is located at the lower level. Generally, each RBBM, including its branches, tries to use inputs and produce outputs efficiently. However, each branch performs according to its goals and limited resources. The evaluation is modeled as a DEA-based Model to be focused on the consumption perspective of the bank. The suggested model is applied on a real-world case study to evaluate five RBBMs which all together manage 110 branches in one of the expertise banking systems.
