Biotehnologija iz ekoetičke perspektive

Rad nastoji, nakon kratkog uvoda u pojmove biotehnologija i bioinženjering, dati kratak
uvid u etičke reperkusije znanstvene manipulacije biljnih i životinjskih stanica. Etičkom
prosudbom takve ljudske djelatnosti nužno se dolazi do ekoekološke tematike koja zahvaća
pitanja narušavanja bioraznolikosti kao izravne posljedice dominantne znanstvene paradigme.
Susljedno tomu, javljaju se pravci unutar ekološke etike koji se, ovisno o temeljnim
postavkama, kreću od antropocentrizma do biocentrizma. Također će se naglasiti i filozofska
kritika znanstveno-tehničkog utjecaja čovjeka na prirodu i, naspram tome, potreba za
njegovim odgovornim djelovanjem
