Ethical Policy
Ethical statements for the BRIDGE conference proceedings are based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. By submitting a manuscript, the author confirms that publication is approved by all co-authors (if any) and, if required, by the competent authorities at the institution where the work was conducted, either explicitly or implicitly. The publisher bears no legal responsibility in the event of claims for damages.

Types of Accepted Papers
The BRIDGE conference proceedings publish peer-reviewed papers, reports, discussions, and reviews. After review, papers are categorised as:

  • Original research paper
  • Preliminary communication
  • Review paper
  • Professional paper

Papers can be written in either language, Croatian or English.

Paper Submission
Papers must be submitted electronically via the Open Monograph Press system ([submission link]). All conference participants are required to submit their full papers by the deadline. Accepted papers will be presented as poster presentations during the conference. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the BRIDGE conference proceedings, which will be assigned an ISSN number.

Papers must follow the official conference template:

General Manuscript Requirements
Authors are fully responsible for the grammatical, stylistic, and technical accuracy of their work. Each paper should be clearly structured, content-complete, and written according to the rules of Croatian or English. Special attention should be paid to language accuracy, clarity, and consistent use of professional terminology.

Papers should be between 1,500 and 6,500 words, including references. The title must be concise, clear, and informative. A summary of up to 200 words must be included, briefly describing the objective, methodology, main results, and conclusions. The abstract should provide a comprehensive yet concise overview that is understandable to readers unfamiliar with the topic.

After the abstract, include 4–6 keywords relevant to the paper for indexing and online search purposes.

Authors must ensure that their manuscript complies with the conference template, which is available in both Croatian and English.

Citing and Referencing Sources
All sources must be cited consistently throughout the paper in accordance with the Harvard style. In-text citations include the author’s surname and year, e.g., (Kotler, 2004) or (Bovee & Thill, 2005). For papers with more than four authors, cite the first author followed by “et al.,” e.g., (Petrović et al., 2021).

The reference list at the end of the paper should be in alphabetical order by the first author’s surname and include only sources cited in the text. Consistency in punctuation and formatting should be maintained.

Examples:

  • Books: Surname, Initials (Year). Title of the Book. Place of publication: Publisher.

Review Policy
All submitted papers for the BRIDGE 2026 proceedings undergo a double-blind peer review.

Each paper is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant scientific or professional field. Author and reviewer identities remain anonymous throughout the process.

Reviewers assess papers based on clearly defined criteria: relevance, scientific/professional contribution, clarity and structure, methodological soundness, quality of results and conclusions, and alignment with the conference theme. Reviewers may recommend acceptance, acceptance with minor revisions, acceptance with major revisions, or rejection.

The editorial board reserves the right to the final decision based on reviewer feedback and overall compliance with conference guidelines. Authors will be notified promptly and, if necessary, asked to revise their work in accordance with the reviewers’ comments.

All accepted and peer-reviewed papers will be published in the BRIDGE 2026 proceedings with an assigned ISSN. Reviewers will receive an official certificate acknowledging their contribution to the scientific and professional quality of the conference.
