Sažetak

Abstract
According to the newest market demands for automotive fuel economy and reduced emissions, the automatic transmissions development continues to emerge as a key factor of improving the fuel efficiency of vehicles with internal combustion engines.
At the same time the new automatic transmission designs require improved type of lubricants also. This paper gives the review of the current performance requirements for automatic transmission fluids.
