Sažetak

In this paper we present the basic principles of mathematics of the ancient Egyptians, with special emphasis on the type of fractions that they used, so they called Egyptian fractions, or unit fractions. The paper also includes images which present the special symbols which were used by Egyptians, as the symbols for decimal system and unit fractions.
