Sažetak
This paper investigates the application of Metaphor Theory, as one of the fundamental concepts in Cognitive Linguistics, in learning and teaching of idioms. The results of the research show the problems that EFL learners at the University of Applied Sciences "Marko Marulic" in Knin face with considering the acquisition of English idioms and figures of speech.
