Sažetak

From the standpoint of energy consumption, the construction period is a very important parameter. Due to the characteristics of construction and the lack of regulations on thermal protection, in the period of the most intensive housing construction from 1950 to 1980 there has been built a series of residential and nonresidential buildings that are now major energy consumers, spending annually over 200 kWh/m2 [1] on average. It should be noted that the average old buildings annually consume 200-300 kWh/m2 energy for heating, whilst standard insulated ones under 100, the modern low-energy houses under 40, and the passive and nul-energy ones 15 kWh/m2 or even less [2].
