Sažetak
The design of the health file card now used at the Institute of Dental
Pathology is more suitable for recording restorative interventions on the crowns of the teeth than for recording endodontic interventions. Therefore, a new, specific endodontic card will be used, which will contain a body of general data on the patient, his health status, on the objective and subjective symptoms of the diseased tooth, on tests, possible etiological factors and the diagnosis. There will be headings for recording the phases of therapy and the length of the root canal. The lower part of the card will have pockets for the insertion of X-ray films. The card is to be used for one tooth and it
should be filled out by smudging the square (beside the entries. This will both save time and make the card fit for computerized photo-reading. When the treatment is completed and the accounts settled, the card will be put into special filing cabinets .
