Abstract

The authors used the image analyser V 8 (which is part of the ISI system 110 usually applieid in geological studies) for evaluation of a jaws radiogram. When a black and whilte radiogram is put into the apparatus, the eight channel TV screen presents a colored picture. The various shades of the black and white radiogram are transformed into eight different colors. Although the human eye is unable to discern the minute differences in grey tomes, their delineation can be achieved with the electronic analyser.
