The professional association of stomatologists in Rijeka at the beginning of the 20th century

Abstract
The author quotes data from the daily press of that time, mentioning the foundation of a professional association of stomatologists at Rijeka at the beginning of the 20th century (1909). The published articles showed that dental medicine in that part of Croatia was at the mentioned time on an enviably high level with regard to the professional skill. At the same time the Croatian nationality of those parts of the country were emphasized in relation to the Hungarian reign of that period. The close relationship between the Associations of Stomatologists of Rijeka and Zagreb is moreover emphasized.
