Sažetak
To speak of formation and educational systems in the 21st century is also a question of democratization and eradicating discrimination and poverty. Learning is a vital factor in a person's life. The goal of formation and education is the development of knowledge which in turn gives a person dignity. For this reason, all systems of injustice that support stereotypes, gender and other inequalities and unjust economical distribution must cease. Similarily, all goals and actions that do not promote the dignity of the person must change. We must remember that even today, millions of children do not attend school while many are forced to work in difficult conditions. Discrimination against minors and their right to formation and education is present in various forms not only in poor countries but all over the world. If no change comes about in this area, many decades will pass before children gain their right to an education. Aware of these facts, the author argues that it is vital that the quality, content and diversity of education is developed. The right to an education is a collective responsibility which takes into account the specifics of each person, respect for others, and desire for peaceful coexistence. This entails efforts to end inequality and a desire to live in a world where everyone will grow together.
