Influence of sport on development of young entreprenuers

Sažetak

Rugby is a rather popular sport in the world and as of recent years it is becoming more popular in Croatia. It contains numerous elemens of the game as competitive attributes all the way to professional sporting level. What is it that through rugby influences the development of entrepreneurship in youth? Dynamics of the its content, risks of injuries but also a clearly expressed overtaking of responsibility for team mates. But not only that – the sport gives the possibility of total freedom and expression. Rugby gives the opportunity of preparing young people for full participation in life on all socio-cultural levels. It emphasizes innovation, integration and advancement in the sense of strengthening motivation, involvement in activities of the club, discovery of personal abilities and developing a sense for teamwork. That is certainly the way that leads to intellectualisation of sport and clearly expressed correlation with entrepreneurship and other school subjects.
