Sažetak

The aim of this research was to observe and prove the efficiency of the
laser therapy (Cosmogamma Twin laser HeNe) applied to 38 patients with
manifested osteoarthrosis of the knee joint. Their average age being 63.8 years. The
treabnent comprised 10 applications of 15 minutes each. The six clinical parameters
being observed (morning stiffness of the knee, the pain in the rest, the effusion of
the knee, the motion range, the knee perimeter circumference measured over the
patella center, the distance between the heel tip and the glottal wrinkles) and theirshoved
that functional capacity of the knee joint being significantly increased after
10 therapeutic procedures.
