REHABILITATION OF THE WOUNDED WITH PERONEAL NERVE LES ION

Abstract

31 wounded men with peroneal nerve )esion were treated. The most of the subjects
were to 30 years age. The early rehabilitation was mostly performed (in 20 subjects it
started before end of first month).
The intention exercises, electrical stimulation and galvanic current were peroformed.
Several parameters were examined at the begining and at the end of the therapy.
There was no significant difference in muscle strength of muscles innervated by deep
peroneal nerve and superficial peroneal nerve.
To all the wounded it is necessary to start early n:habilitation. The colaboration
between the wounded and the physiotherapist in essential.
