Innovation Subsystem: Analysis of a Basic Approach and its Fruitfulness

Sažetak
In this paper the author has developed his own approach for the analysis of innovation subsystem within economic/industrial organizations. First, four dominant approaches were presented. These are: a) the crisis of »technical intelegentsia« approach, b) science and technology policy analysis, c) innovation movement approach, d) empirical analysis of R&D enterprise function approach.
None of these approaches can explain empirical relation between organization as business system and development stage of innovation subsystem. The author thinks that more fruitful is the »concept of interdependence«, which emphasize the links between organization as entrepreneurial unit, innovation subsystem and overall technological capability of enterprise.
