Sažetak
Anarchists usually felt it to be their duty to defend themselves against the accusation of Utopism, corroborating and substantiating their suggestion of an alternative society by proving it to be within reach and in the area of the possible. But, the meaning of the ideal model of a society which is not realizable is only one of the many meanings of the idea of Utopia. As Manheim, Bloch and others already pointed out, there are meanings and interpretations that constitute the positive Utopian function, which is necessary for e\’ery project of radical transformation of the existing. This function is not illusory, but subversive. Therefore, instead of defending themselves against the accusation of utopism, the anarchists should be proud and win again their Utopian dimension, which they should decisively adhere to and nourish.
